Abstract

The present research analyzes the Thematic Notebooks of Environmental Education, produced in the period from 2008 to 2018, by the State Department of Education of Paraná and how they dialogue with Environmental Education, as well as the possibilities of insertion of the discipline of Sociology, in the search for the reestablishment of reflections on relations between man and nature. As a way of verifying the reach and contributions of the Thematic Notebooks, a survey of data was carried out with teachers from the state public network of Paraná, in the area of the Regional Education Center of Jacarezinho, in the northern region of the State of Paraná. It was noted in the research that teachers have a notion of relevance on the environmental theme, but the difficulties pointed out by them, prevent the implementation of actions in the school environment. We verified that the Thematic Notebooks are constituted as support materials for the teacher, who is unable to have him as a source and instrument due to the fragility of his training in Environmental Education. The research noted the need for a continuing education program where the teacher is supported and mobilized to think critically of reality, in order to establish changes with the State Department of Education, which culminate in the integrated articulation with the various disciplines of the curriculum, in the production of new materials for teachers and that this has an impact on students in the search for changes in their locality as a way to combat environmental problems present in their daily lives.

A presente pesquisa analisa os Cadernos Temáticos de Educação Ambiental, produzidos no período de 2008 a 2018, pela Secretaria de Estado da Educação do Paraná e como eles dialogam com a Educação Ambiental, bem como as possibilidades de inserção na disciplina de Sociologia, na busca do reestabelecimento das reflexões sobre relações entre o homem e natureza. Como forma de verificar o alcance e contribuições dos Cadernos Temáticos, realizou-se o levantamento de dados junto aos professores da rede pública estadual do Paraná, na área do Núcleo Regional de Educação de Jacarezinho, região Norte do Estado do Paraná. Constatase na pesquisa que os professores apresentam noção da relevância sobre a temática ambiental, mas as dificuldades apontadas por eles, impendem a efetivação de ações no ambiente escolar. Verifica-se que os Cadernos Temáticos se constituem como materiais de apoio ao professor, que não consegue tê-lo como fonte e instrumento de trabalho pedagógico pela fragilidade da sua formação em Educação Ambiental. A pesquisa ainda identificou a necessidade de um programa de formação continuada, em que o professor seja apoiado e mobilizado a pensar de maneira crítica a educação ambiental, para o estabelecimento de mudanças junto a Secretaria de Estado da Educação, que culminem na articulação integrada com as diversas disciplinas do currículo, na produção de novos materiais para os professores e que tenha impacto nos estudantes na busca por transformações em sua localidade como forma de combater os problemas ambientais presentes no cotidiano.
