Abstract

Esta pesquisa apresenta uma investigação sobre as concepções das(os) professoras(es) e funcionárias do Ensino Infantil sobre sexo, sexualidade e educação em sexualidade no tocante à orientação do trabalho pedagógico frente às manifestações da sexualidade das(os) alunas(os). O processo investigativo foi desenvolvido em um Centro de Educação Infantil Municipal (CEIM), localizado em uma cidade do interior do Estado de São Paulo que atende crianças nas faixas etárias entre 4 meses a 3 anos e 11 meses de idade, originárias de famílias de classe média baixa. Por meio do método de observação in loco, buscou-se identificar, inicialmente, as práticas de cuidados diários e a linguagem utilizada entre as professoras e a equipe de apoio, bem como destas para com as crianças. Na sequência, foram aplicadas entrevistas semiestruturadas contendo questões abertas que, com a devida anuência das participantes, foram gravadas, transcritas e analisadas qualitativamente, agregando-se dados quantitativos quando possível. Reconhecendo gênero como forma primária de dar significado às relações de poder, cujo processo de construção se inicia na infância; compreendendo a centralidade da Escola na socialização de meninos e meninas; considerando a transversalidade dos temas sexualidade, gênero e violências, optou-se por desenvolver esta pesquisa junto ao lócus referido, tendo em vista o favorecimento deste contexto para a proximidade entre profissionais, crianças e famílias, além das potencialidades de cooperação destes em ações promotoras da ressignificação de crenças e valores constitutivos e constituídos nas relações sociais.

The present research aimed to investigate the conception of teachers of a childhood education center, about sex, sexuality and sexual education, and how it guides their pedagogical work while dealing with the students sexuality manifestations. The investigated process was developed in a Municipal Childhood Educational Center (MCEC), locate in a city from the interior of State of São Paulo, which serves children in the age range between 4 months and 3 years and 11 months, from lower middle class families. For that, observation in loco method was adopted, aiming to identify the daily care practices, as well as to notice the language used between the educators and the others school professionals and between them and children. In sequence, it was applied a semi structured interview, with open questions, which, with the participants approval, were recorded and, than, ttranscribed and qualitatively analyzed, aggregating quantitative data, when possible. Considering Gener as the primary way to significate power relationships, which construction process begins in childhood; understanding the centrality of School in girls and boys socialization; considering the issues trasversatility – sexuality, gender and violence – it was opted to develop this work in childhood education field, considering this context as favorable because of the proximity between professionals, child and their families, as well as their possibility to cooperate to promote actions that can reframe constitutive and constituted beliefs and values in social relationships.
