Abstract

Neste trabalho, fundamentado em documentos pessoais que em grande parte tramitaram em instâncias da Secretaria Estadual da Educação de São Paulo, um professor de Matemática do Ensino Fundamental aborda procedimentos respaldos na legislação educacional com o objetivo de compreender diferentes níveis de envolvimento de agentes educacionais diante de diretrizes ou recomendações oficiais voltadas para mudanças na escola pública. Particularmente vinculados aos projetos Escola Padrão e Conselho de Escola, os episódios explorados referem-se a unidades escolares do sistema público de ensino da Capital, nem todas estaduais, e a outras unidades da rede estadual pertencentes aos municípios paulistas de Rio Claro, Santa Gertrudes e Cordeirópolis, abrangendo um período que se estende de princípios da década de 1980 aos primeiros anos de 2000

Based on personal documents that circulated within the Secretary of Education of the State of São Paulo, an elementary school mathematics teacher explores, in this paper, his ownproceedings, backed up by educational legislation, with the objective of understanding different levels of involvement of educational agents in face of official guidelines or recommendations for change in the public school system. Particularly related to the projects EscolaPadrão and Conselho de Escola, the analyzed episodes refer to municipal and statepublic schools units in the Capital and to another state public schools in the cities of Rio Claro, Santa Gertrudes and Cordeirópolis, covering a period extending from the early 1980s to the first years of the 2000s
