Marmora en los opera sectilia italicenses

Con el presente artículo pretendemos analizar y catalogar los revestimientos en opus sectile hallados en el yacimiento de Itálica (Santiponce, Sevilla), así como identificar mediante análisis macroscópicos los diversos materiales pétreos presentes en dichos ejemplares, procedentes de todas las grandes regiones del Mediterráneo.

In this article, we examine and catalog the opus sectile-style facings uncovered in Italica (Santiponce, Seville). We identify the Mediterranean origins of the diverse stone materials found in these pieces using macroscopic analyses.
