Arquitectura romana en la Península Ibérica

Abstract

The knowledge of history in primary pupils is really important because that will led them to analyze and to create critical perceptions about everything that happened in the past. But not only that, it will also allow them to understand the present situation. The study of “Hispania and its architecture” will let them understand how life was in our country based on the buildings which were part of the former Roman colony, and also how they were built and some of their most important Features. The main purpose of this topic is to show children, in a didactic but also playful way, how life was for the people living in our country at that time. In order to do so, an integrated project will be carried out. All pupils will travel across the most typical Hispanian houses, and they will observe and understand how these houses were, where the festivities took place, the place were people used to eat or where they took the water from.
