Abstract

The purpose of this project is to develop a study of the building, evaluate the energy demand and analyze a series of proposals for the improvement of energy efficiency and sustainability, applied to a nursery school, specifically the Municipal Children's School located in the town of Castilleja del Field, Seville. The main objective of the project is to achieve, reduce energy consumption, reduce CO2 emissions, increase comfort and improve the energy rating of the building; through the use of different strategies, both passive and active. Based on the previous analysis where the envelopes, installations and the various energy systems that compose it have been studied, a series of actions or corrective measures will be proposed, taking into account the current regulations. Each of the proposals develops a study of the economic impact, which also incorporates the amortization period of the measures adopted, obtaining the Energy rating and the necessary investment. It is justified through annexes of certifications and energy qualifications, studies of estimated costs each of the hypotheses proposed to improve energy efficiency. The total investment planned is € 6,899.02, with an economic saving of € 3,938.82 and a simple return period (PRS) of 1.75 years. Finally, after the whole process, conclusions are determined that clarify the choice of suitable and viable measures, and that demonstrate that any building can achieve energy savings of more than 45%, a reduction in CO2 emissions of 50% and decrease your energy rating from a C to an unbeatable A.
