Abstract

Las prácticas extracurriculares son una herramienta de mejora del currículo académico para el alumnado del Grado en Conservación y Restauración de Bienes Culturales, acercándoles al conocimiento de metodologías de trabajo adecuadas a la realidad profesional, y aportando una experiencia práctica facilitadora de inserción laboral. La gestión de estas prácticas implica un gran esfuerzo por parte del profesorado que las promociona, puesto que deben estar asociadas a un Proyecto de Conservación específico para el bien cultural que sea objeto del desarrollo de la actividad. Además, se hace necesario la coordinación de las distintas instituciones y servicios que participan, siendo el docente el que actúa de coordinador-mediador entre las mismas.

Extracurricular practices are a tool to enhance the academic curriculum for students of the Degree in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Property, bringing them closer to the knowledge of methodologies appropriate to the professional actually work, and providing practical experience facilitating employability. The management of these practices is a major effort by teachers that promotes, since they must be associated to a specific conservation project for the cultural property which is the subject of the development of the activity. Furthermore, coordination of the various institutions and services involved is necessary, being the teacher-coordinator, the person acting as mediator between them.
