Abstract

La resolución de problemas de elasticidad lineal anisótropa, utilizando el formalismo de Stroh, se basa en el conocimiento de los autovalores y autovectores de la matriz de elasticidad fundamental N. En el presente trabajo se presenta el conjunto completo de expresiones explícitas de dichos autovalores y autovectores para materiales transversalmente isótropos. Puesto que el comportamiento de las láminas unidireccionales de materiales compuestos fibrosos es típicamente transversalmente isótropo, los resultados obtenidos permiten el análisis de problemas con este tipo de materiales. Se presentan aplicaciones para uniones adhesivas entre metales y materiales compuestos.
