Abstract

El sistema de cultivo del arroz en España es vulnerable a la aparición de resistencias a herbicidas y el riesgo aumenta si se utilizan inhibidores de la ALS sin tener en cuenta estrategias antirresistencia. El objetivo del trabajo fue demostrar la existencia de poblaciones españolas de Cyperus difformis resistentes al penoxsulam. Para ello se utilizaron 4 poblaciones: "Filipinas-S", "Sevilla-S", "Extremadura-R" y "Sevilla-R". En un primer ensayo, las poblaciones "S" y "R" ya tuvieron respuesta muy diferente frente al penoxsulam. En un segundo ensayo, con plantas obtenidas de semilla del primero, se probaron 16 dosis de penoxsulam y los resultados se ajustaron a un modelo de regresión dosis-respuesta Loglogistic (4 parámetros) que confirmaron ese comportamiento diferencial de sus respectivas progenies. Los resultados demuestran existencia de resistencia a penoxsulam al constatarse una respuesta diferencial y heredable. El factor de resistencia, fue de 13,60 y 45,61 para "Extremadura-R" y "Sevilla-R", respectivamente, en el parámetro supervivencia

Rice crop in Spain is prone to herbicide resistance ocurrence, and the risk increases if ALS inhibitors are used without implementing antiresistance strategies. The goal of this research was to confirm the resistance to penoxsulam in Spanish populations of Cyperus difformis. Four populations were used: "Filipinas-S", "Sevilla-S", "Extremadura-R" and "Sevilla-R". In a first trial, “S” and “R”populations showed a different response to penoxsulam. In a second experiment, with plants obtained from seeds collected on the checks of the first trial, 16 doses of penoxsulam were tested and the results were adjusted to a regression model dose-response Log-logistic (4 parameters) that confirmed the differential behaviour of their respective progenies. The adjustment allowed calculating the resistance factor, which was 13,60 and 45,61 for “Extremadura-R” and “Sevilla-R” respectively in survival parameter. All these facts indicate that both populations are resistant to penoxsulam
