Iconografía musical y autos sacramentales en Sevilla

Abstract

Recientes estudios sobre iconografía musical inciden en la importancia de encuadrar su significado en un marco cultural más general. Este trabajo pretende vincular las referencias musicales realizadas en los autos sacramentales barrocos españoles con la producción pictórica contemporánea. Para ello se han utilizado herramientas informáticas para la gestión de los textos literarios, y bases de datos específicas de patrimonio inmueble con apartados de iconografía musical. Todo esto permite encontrar relaciones claras entre ambas disciplinas, así como casos excepcionales que denotan un lógico nivel de independencia.
