Abstract

El tema de la tesis doctoral es la eficiencia energética en edificaciones universitarias ubicadas en distintas ciudades de Brasil. Basado en la reciente expansión universitaria brasileña, fueron elegidos como objeto de estudio tres pabellones de aula implantados en distintas ciudades del interior de Bahia / Brasil (Barreiras, Cruz das Almas y Vitória da Conquista). En esas ciudades fueron construidos pabellones basado en un mismo proyecto arquitectónico. Ese trabajo académico evaluará el comportamiento energético de la envolvente térmica de las tres edificaciones y sus repercusiones en el desempeño térmico de esos ambientes. Los análisis energéticos hasta ahora realizados se basan en informaciones técnicas sobre los tres pabellones de aula, colectadas in situ, y en simulaciones computacionales. A partir de esos datos ya es posible apuntar algunos puntos débiles del desempeño térmico de cada edificación y principales directrices para una futura rehabilitación.

The research elects as its theme the energy efficiency at universities buildings located at different cities of Brazil. Based on the recent Brazilian’s university spread, the object of study elected is three classroom pavilion built at different inner cities of Bahia / Brazil (Barreiras, Cruz das Almas and Vitória da Conquista) based upon the same architectural project. It will be evaluated the envelope’s energy performance of these three buildings and their thermal impact into the classrooms. The energy analysis carried out until now are based on technical data of these three classroom pavilions, some of them collected in situ, and on computational simulations. From this analysis it is possible to point out some envelope’s weak characteristics of each building and the major guidelines for a future retrofit.
