Uno de los aspectos del “proceso de Bolonia” que más ha transcendido y más polémica ha despertado es el de la revolución metodológica que implica (“educación superior centrada en el alumno”), como consecuencia de la implantación de los créditos ECTS y de la incorporación de competencias que conecten al alumnado con el mercado laboral. Este artículo estudia sus bases, su verdadera importancia y su peso en la práctica de la reforma. Partiendo del análisis de la documentación existente sobre el EEES, se describe a continuación la gran heterogeneidad de soluciones didácticas empleadas en las diferentes universidades europeas. Y finalmente, se señalan algunos problemas y contradicciones del proceso, mostradas desde la experiencia a pie de aula, paradojas que será preciso corregir para lograr realmente la libre circulación de profesores y alumnos por todo el espacio europeo de educación superior.
One of the more widely known and controversial aspects of the “Bolonia Process” is that of the methodological revolution that involves (“Higher Education focused on the student”), as a result of the implementation of the ECTS credits and of the inclusion of competencies which connect the student with the labour market. This article studies its principles, its real importance and its concernment in the realization of the reform. Considering the analysis of the documentation available on the EEES, the great heterogeneity of educational solutions used in different European Universities are described. Finally, some paradoxical problems and contradictions of the process are presented, based on classroom experience, which must be adjusted in order to allow the free flow of teachers and students in the European sphere of higher education.
