El Pirulejo es el yacimiento arqueológico con el mayor repertorio de piezas de arte mueble, sobre soporte óseo y pétreo, en posición estratigráfica del sur de la Península Ibérica. Además existe una colección de adornos sobre concha. Muchas de ellas son de procedencia marina y pone de relieve contactos directos o intercambios con la costa. Así mismo, existen otros vestigios que podrían tener este valor simbólico como algunos elementos de piedra coloreados y un pequeño conjunto de restos óseos.
El Pirulejo is the archaeological site with more quantity of mobile art, on bone and lithic supports, in stratigraphical position in the south of the Iberian Peninsula. In addition, it is an important collection of ornaments on shell, many they of marine origin to show directs contact or exchange with the coast. In the same way, they are other vestiges maybe with a symbolic sense: some coloured stones or a little lot of anthropological rests.
