Abstract

"El problema de autovalores sigue siendo aún hoy una cuestión no resuelta en general a pesar de los innumerables algoritmos existentes, y ello por el mal condicionamiento intrínseco de determinadas matrices que hacen fallar la efectividad de la mayoría de los métodos provocando inestabilidad y como consecuencia, resultados pobres en cuanto a aproximación. De forma natural aparecen, tanto en el estudio teórico como en el numérico, diferentes clases de matrices cuyas características estructurales aconsejan un tratamiento separado. Con objeto de generalizar la clásica descomposición matricial A=H SUB 1 + H SUB 2 DONDE H SUB 1 = 1/2 (A + A*) Y H SUB 2 = 1/2 (A - A*) se introducen dos nuevas familias de matrices normales como generalizaciones directas de las hermíticas y las unitarias. Después de estudiar sus principales propiedades definimos lo que hemos denominado como descomposición de una matriz respecto a un par de rectas arbitrarias para a continuación obtener dos formas canonícas que optimizan la aproximación a la matriz y a sus autovalores respectivamente.Finalmente se hace un estudio comparativo entre la cota de Henrici para la desviación de la normalidad y otra por nosotros obtenida en la memoria."|
