Modelo teórico de lexicón mental

Authors: Miranda Garcia, Antonio;

Modelo teórico de lexicón mental

Abstract

In this paper a theoretical model of the mental lexicon is proposed. Its structure and functioning are of high relevance for the learning of lexis in L2. The mental lexicon is modelled to resemble a huge database file containing all the related information in a open series of records, the main fields of which are listed and typified as well as the input/output/update processes. Accordingly, some practical activities are suggested to improve the learning of vocabulary in L2.
