Abstract

Our aim is to analyze adolescent’s speech in violent situations at school from a pragmalinguistic approach and, in this way, to contribute to development of (im)politeness studies. We will analyze the impolite grammatical procedures and vocabulary used by young people according different interactive situations and sociocultural variants. So we start from a survey carried out by the “Argumentación y persuasión lingüística” research group of the University of Seville in the academic year 2006-07 at some high school of the South of Spain. The pupils’ age go from 12 to 17 years old. The research will focus on the analysis of the grammatical procedure for the expression of the impoliteness in the pupil-teacher relationship and we will get tow hypothesis for explain the high degree of the verbal aggressiveness that we have confirmed.
