Mobilis in mobili: moviendo el tiempo pasado

Abstract

This exercise offers an immersion in the past in motion in the present, through the recognition of interpretation as a tool for understanding heritage. Uncovering the past requires a dual task: first, the recognition of temporal strata that frames “the object” in the present and, secondly, to implement them to build in a genealogical reading, an heritage intervention theory. This theory focuses primarily in the twentieth century and became the starting point of the new century in which this attitude of permanent reading of what exists, as a mechanism for a project of future, seems to constitute as a possible answer, a society in crisis that demands certainty. It represents an evolution of the definition of heritage projected object, and provide new tools approach which can incorporate all time. These objects, initially defined as monuments and spatially bounded, are now placed in more complex scenarios of fuzzy boundaries, in which realities are constructed at different scales.
