El primer gobierno municipal de Plasencia

Abstract

Este artículo estudia fundamentalmente la evolución institucional que experimentó el concejo de Plasencia desde su época fundacional -reinado de Alfonso VIII- hasta 1346, momento en el que Alfonso XI implantó en la villa el regimiento. Paralelamente se abordan otras cuestiones estrechamente ligadas a la historia municipal placentina, como por ejemplo la desplobación del término municipal o los continuos conflictos que con otros poderes mantuvo el concejo por la defensa de sus intereses.
