Sedanter kadınlarda direnç bandı antrenmanlarının fiziksel uygunluğa etkisi

Abstract

Purpose: To investigate the effects of rsistance band training, applied in addition to body composition and physical fitness. Materials and Methods: 20 sedentary, resistance band training group volunteers to participate in the study (age: :35,80-8.39 years, height: 165±06 cm, body weight: 58,60±4,62 kg, BMI: 21,74±2,38 kg/ m2) and body weighy group (40,60±9,06 years, height: 159±06 cm, body weight: 60.30±9,30 kg, BMI: 23,85±4,29 kg/ m2) Both groups applied the training protocol consisting of 3 sets, 15 repetitions and 11 movements. During the 6 week training period, 18 units of training were performed. Women’s body composition, strength, flexibility and balance performances were measured before and after training. Independent sample t-test was used for intrra-group comparison in normally distributed data, paired sample t-test was used for intra-group comparisons and independent sample yt-test was used for inter-group comparisons. In data that is not normally distributed, wilcoxon signed. Results: There is a statistically significant difference in the body composition and physical fitness of the resistance band training group and the body composition and physical fitness of the body weight training group and the body composition and physical fitness of the body weight training group, comparing the development difference of the groups (p<0,05). Conclusion: As a result of resistance band training, body composition, strength, flexibility and balance values increased.
