Abstract

Amaç: Bu tezin amacı Türkiye’deki E-spor’un ekonomik süreçlerini ve bu süreçler altında oluşan çalışma hayatı içinde E-sporcuların emek-sermaye ilişkilerini ve çalışma koşullarını ortaya koymaktır. Elde edilen bulgularla E-spor endüstrisi içerisindeki eksiklikleri tespit etmek ve alanyazına katkı sağlamak amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmamız nitel yönteme göre tasarlanmış ve “Yarı Yapılandırılmış Derinlemesine Görüşme” tekniği kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklem grubunu daha önce E-spor kulüplerinde forma giymiş veya giymeye devam eden 13 katılımcı oluşturmaktadır. Katılımcılara yöneltilen soru sayısı 9’dur. Görüşmeler telefonla ve discord üzerinden gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bulgular ve Sonuçlar: Elde edilen bulgular neticesinde; E-sporun Türkiye’deki değişimin ve gelişiminin E-sporcuları memnun etmediği, transfer sürecinde aracı olmadığı, pazarlık sürecinin oyuncunun kariyerine bağlı olduğu, E-sporcuların sosyal güvence hakkında bilgi sahibi olmadıkları, geçtiğimiz yıllar içerisinde E-sporcuların ücretlerini almada sorun yaşadıkları ancak günümüze gelindikçe bu tarz sorunların yaşanma sıklığının azaldığı, E-spordaki mesleki örgütlenmelerden oyuncuların haberdar olmadığı, E-sporcuların gelecek kaygısı çektikleri, kariyer sürelerinin geleneksel sporlara kıyasla kısa olduğu, çalışma saatlerinin esneklik gösterdiği, Covid-19 sürecinin E-spor endüstrisi üzerine olumlu ve olumsuz etkilerinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Purpose: The aim of this thesis is reveal the economic processes of e-sports in Turkey and the labor-capital relations and working conditions of e-sportsmen in the working life formed under these processes. With the findings abtained, it is aimed to identify the deficiencies in the e-sports industry and to contribute to the literature. Materials and Methods: Our study was designed according to the qualitative method and the “Semi-structured Indepth Interview” technique was used. The sample group of the study consists of 13 participants who have worn or continue to wear uniforms in e-sports clubs. The number of questions asked to the participants is 9. Interviews were conducted over the phone and via discord. Findings and Results: As a result of the findings obtained; The change and development of e-sports in Turkey does not satisfy e-sportsmen, it is not an intermediary in the transfer process, the bargaining process depends on the career of the player, e-sportsmen do not have information about social security, e-sportsmen have problems in getting their wages in the past years, The frequency of such problems has decreased, the players are not aware of professional organizations in e-sports, e-sports players are worried about the future, career times are short compared to traditional sports, working hours are flexible, Covid-19 process has positive and negative effects on the e-sports industry detected.
