Abstract

Our research is being carried out by the aim to establish the indications and the thoughts of the pregnant women who have applied to the hospitals, serving at different statuses in Istanbul, to give birth and were applied the sectio operation. •? Material-Method: The universe of our defining type research is being formed by the pregnant women who have applied to give birth, to the hospitals, which serve as maternity hospitals in Istanbul. From the hospitals which were grouped according to the layered exemplary method considering their status, Bakırköy Hastanesi, Şişli Etfal Hastanesi, Kartal S.S.K. Hastanesi, Semiha Şakir Doğumevi, Özel Kadıköy Şifa Hastanesi which were chosen between 01.02.2003 and 20.02.2003 by using the basic random exemplary method, 210 women who applied to give birth, who gave birth using the sectio and who volunteered to take place in this research were chosen for the exemplary groupe. The average age of our cases is28.8±5.26, 61.3% had given birth 2 and more times, 75% have social security, if we make a research in terms of Sect. - indications the 1. grade 34.7%have had sectio applied because of repeated sectio, the 2. grade 12.7% have had if applied because of presentation abnormality and often the operation 57.7% have had complaints of especially pain, gas, and not being able to take care of themselves and their babies if was established that because of this complaints they don't recommend the sectio. Due to the complaints of pain by the individuals in the exemplary groupe this research might be supported by another one for the pharmacological and non-pharmacological method of pain relief.

Araştırmamız. İstanbul ilinde çeşitli statüde hizmet veren hastanelere doğum yapmak amacı ile başvuran ve sectio operasyonu uygulanan gebelerin endikasyonlarını ve operasyona ilişkin düşüncelerini saptamak amacı ile planlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı tipteki araştırmamızın evrenini İstanbul ilinde farklı statülerde kadın-doğum alanında hizmet veren hastanelere doğum yapmak amacı ile başvuran gebeler oluşturmaktadır. Tabakalı örneklem yöntemi ile statülerine göre gruplanan hastanelerden 01.01.2003- 20.02.2003 tarihleri arasında basit rastgele örneklem yöntemi ile seçilen Bakırköy Eğitim Araştırma Hastanesi, Şişli Etfal Eğitim Araştırma Hastanesi, S.S.K. Kartal Hastanesi, Semiha Şakır Doğumevi, Özel Kadıköy Şifa HastanesVne doğum yapmak için başvuran ve araştırmaya katılmaya gönüllü olan, sectio ile doğum yapan, toplam 210 kadın örneklem grubuna alınmıştır. Bulgular: Olgularımızın yaş ortalaması 28.8±5.26 %61.3'ünün iki ve daha fazla doğumunu gerçekleştirdiği, %75{inin sosyal güvencesinin olduğu, sectio endikasyonlan açısından incelendiğinde birinci sırada %34.7'sinin mükerrer sectio, ikinci sırada %12.7'inin prezentasyon anomalisi nedeni ile sectio uygulandığı ve operasyon sonrası %57.7'sinin .öncelikle ağrı, gaz şikayeti, kendisinin ve bebeğinin öz bakımını gerçekleştirememe nedeni ile sectio operasyonunu önermedikleri saptanmıştır. Öneri: Bu araştırma örneklem grubundaki bireylerin ağrı şikayetlerinin ağırlıklı olması nedeniyle, farmakolojik ve non-farmakolojik ağrı giderme yöntemlerinin kullanılmasına yönelik bir başka araştırma ile desteklenebilir.
