Dijital yerliler ve dijital göçmenlerin teknoloji ürünlerine yönelik ilgilenimlerinin satın alma davranışları üzerindeki etkisinin karşılaştırmalı analizi

Abstract

In this study, we examined the previous national and international studies on this subject, taking into account the differences created by the technological gap between generations. In this context, it is aimed to analyze and compare the relationship between digital natives and digital immigrants in Turkey and the way they deal with high-tech products and their buying behavior. In line with the determined purpose, the ways in which digital natives and digital immigrants are affected by technological developments and the differences / similarities in the way they use high-tech products are emphasized. In this context, the socio-economic, socio-cultural and socio-demographic characteristics of the two groups were revealed, and the relationship between the important factors affecting the buying behavior of the two parties were discussed. The survey method, which was carried out in accordance with the comparative relational scanning model was used as a data collection technique in this research. Survey questions were delivered online via social media accounts and internet channels. The reliability analysis of the data obtained was determined and the data was determined statistically. The findings of the study showed that there was a significant relationship between socio-demographic variables and the interest and buying behavior of digital natives and digital immigrants in technology products. It was also concluded that digital natives have a higher level of technological product buying behavior than digital immigrants.
