Yarı otomatik av tüfeği mekanizmasının yorulma dayanımının analizi

Abstract

YARI OTOMATİK AV TÜFEĞİ MEKANİZMASININ YORULMA DAYANIMININ ANALİZİ Bu çalışmada ateşleme esnasında tekrarlı yüklere maruz kalan yarı otomatik av tüfeği mekanizma gurubu elemanlarından kilide ait kırılma ve yorulma davranışları incelenmiştir. Üretimine halen devam edilen silah mekanizma gurubuna ait olan kilitte meydana delen kırılmaların nedenlerini belirleyebilmek için Pro Engineer (Wildfire 3.0) parametrik katı modelleme kullanılarak tüfek parçaları tasarlanmıştır. Ek olarak tüfeğin ateşlemesi sırasında kilitleme yüzeylerinde oluşan stres dağılımını belirlemek amacıyla Ansys LS-Dyna sonlu elemanlar analiz kullanılarak kilide ait dinamik çarpışma analizi yapılmıştır. Ardından Ansys Workbench sonlu elemanlar analiz kullanılarak kilidin yorulma davranışı (yorulma ömrü ve güvenlik faktörü) tahmin edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Son olarak kilidin yorulma sebebiyle kırılan yüzeyleri ile sonu elemanlar analiz sonuçları incelenerek karşılaştırmalar yapılmıştır. Bu karşılaştırmalar çatlak başlangıcının kilidin kilitleme yüzeylerindeki stres yoğunluğunun yüksek olduğu bölgelerde ortaya çıktığını keşfetmemizi sağlamıştır.

FAILURE ANALYSIS OF THE SEMI-AUTO SHOTGUN MECHANISM In this study, locking block of semi auto shotgun (a part of the shotgun mechanism) has been investigated which had fractured by fatigue under the repeated loading during the firing process. The locking block of shotgun mechanism which has been manufactured was modeled by using 3D parametric Pro Engineer solid modeling software in order to understand reasons of fracture and failure of locking block. Additionally Ansys LS Dyna Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software has been used for a dynamic crash analysis to determine the stress distribution of the locking block faces during the firing process. Subsequently fatigue behavior (fatigue life and safety factor) of locking block was predicted using ANSYS Workbench Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software. Finally, faces of locking block which fractured by fatigue, has been examined and compared with the finite element analysis results. It was discovered that the fracture initiate occurs at a localized high stress distribution of the locking block faces.
