Türkiye` nin alternatif enerji kaynakları potansiyeli ve ekonomik analizleri

Abstract

After the power (oil) crisis in seventies, it has been recognized that energy is acrucial factor for economic activities. Countries, which have dependancy on energyresources, started interesting in new, clean and renewable energy resources to decreasetheir power dependancy. Another important factor of increasing attention to therenewable energy resources have greenhouse gases affect causes global warming. Nonrenewableenergy resources diffuse carbon dioxide highly so that greenhouse gasesaffect occurs. In the thesis, renewable energy resources were tried to evaluate according to theirpotential and usage capacity in Turkey. It has been understood that, renewable energyresources have been raising all around the world. Altough Turkey has a big potential ofalternative energy resources, usage and production of alternative resources are less thanexpected. It has been expected that alternative energy resources will increase their shareof total energy production all around the world.
