Yaş presle (Seramik) şekillendirme

Abstract

SUMMARYToday Ceramics, as being same in every age, areexceeding the limits of common processing technics andgive rise to practicability of new ones. Forming with wetpressing is one of them.Continuous prodution presses which are technicallynamed Ram Presses are used in this forming method, andthe most important thing in this method is preparing stageof the pressing mould. These moulds are made of a special plaster which ishard and has a porous structure. Therefore hard mould canbe resistable to fracture under loading and its porousstructure makes the air transition possible through themould which is necessary to get the product from themoukd easily at the end of the process.Altough its first usage was the beginnings of the 20.Yy. , nowadays as a continuonus production plastic formingof ceramic clay by pressing is not a common productionmethod. There is still some technological problems for theusage of this tecnic and the most important one is providingthe appropriate plaster mould. As production of the plastermoulds which is convenient for pressing has been becomingeconomic and rentable, this technic has become easy to usefor plants.VIIn the last ten years, this forming technic is used onlyby some small and middle plants in Turkey but all thefacilities and parameters are not known exactly. In order tomake it more comprehensible, a research about this technicis needed.Except standard producing methods, this technic canalso be used for some applications like ceramic panel withartistic designs and some works with installation style.VII
