Abstract

ÇEVRE YÖNETİM SİSTEMLERİ VE ISO 14001 UYGULAMASIÇalışmanın amacı Türkiye'de plastik inşaat malzemeleri üretimi yapan FIRAT Plastik Kauçuk Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi'inde Çevre Yönetim Sistemi uygulamalarının incelenmesi, yönetim sistemi uygulaması ile, fabrika genelinde ortaya çıkan tehlikeli atıklar, katı atıklar, atık su, hava kirliliği ve gürültü kirliliği ile ilgili çalışmaların incelenmesidir.Çalışmanın ilk bölümünde çevre kirliliği ve çevre yönetimi ele alınmış, önemi üzerinde durulmuştur. İkinci bölümde Çevre Yönetim Sisteminin tarihsel gelişimi, dünyada Çevre Yönetimi konusunda farklı organizasyonların geliştirdiği sistemler karşılaştırılmış, Uluslararası Standartlar Organizasyonu ISO 9000 Kalite güvence sistemi kısaca ele alınarak, ISO 14000 Çevre Yönetim Sistemleri ile karşılaştırması yapılmıştır. ISO 9000 Kalite Güvence sistemi üzerine entegre edilebilen ISO 14000 Çevre Yönetim Sistemi kapsamlı olarak incelenmiştir.Üçüncü bölümde FIRAT Plastik Kauçuk Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirket'nde, ISO 14001 Çevre Yönetim Sistemi çalışmaları incelenmiştir. Tüm fabrika genelinde çevresel etkiler belirlenerek, hedefler tespit edilmiş, uygulamalar incelenmiştir. Son bölümde Çevre Yönetim Sisteminin uygulaması ele alınarak, yorumlarda bulunulmuştur.Haziran, 2005Çiğdem BEYAZOVAaim of this study to investigate the implementation of environmental management system in FIRAT, which a manufacturer of plastic building materials, and resulting from the implementation of management system, to investigate the hazardous wastes, solid wastes, waste water, air pollution and noise pollution.In the first phase of the study, the environmental pollution and environmental management underlined. In the second phase, the development and the history of environmental management are investigated and the systems developed by different organizations are explained. The International Organization for Standardization, Quality Management System ISO 9000 is briefly explained and compared with Environmental Management Systems, ISO 14000. Environmental Management System, ISO 14000, which can be integrated on Quality Management System, ISO 9000 is comprehensively investigated. In the third phase, the implementation of the environmental management system ISO 14001 in FIRAT is investigated. The environmental impacts and aspects are determined and applications are investigated.In the last phase, the applied system has been briefly discussed and interpreted.June, 2005Çiğdem BEYAZOVA
