SUMMARY The main purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between coping styles of adolescents and sex and sex roles. Seperataly coping styles of adolescents were also examined education levels of mother and father and number of brother variables. Survey method was used in this research. The sample of the research was consisted of 333 students at the 8, grade of four primary schools that depend on M.E.B. in Beşiktaş District in 2002-2003 education year.
