MUKADDIME'DE KÜLTÜR VE SANAT oz^r Mukaddime Orta Çağ İslam Dünyası 'na ışık tutan birinci elden kaynak olması sebebiyle, bu konuda araştırma yapanların ilk başvurduğu eser olmaktadır. İbn Haldun eserinde siyasi gelişmelerden ziyade, siyaseti etkileyen faktörlerden; sosyal, ekonomik ve beşeri hayattan ayrıntılı olarak bahsetmiştir. Müellif, yaşadığı coğrafyadan ve tecrübelerinden de ilham alarak, üzerinde durduğu her konuyu devrinin iki temel yaşam tarzı olan bedevilik ve hadarilik kriterlerine göre işlemiştir. Bedevi topluluklar, her türlü lüksten uzak yaşama, ihtiyaçlarının temininde yalnız zaruri olanlar ile yetinme gibi özellikleri ile sanattan ve refah ile yerleşen meslek dallarından her zaman uzak kalmışlardır. Bunlar arasında çiftçilik, hayvancılık, marangozluk, dokumacılık, terzilik ve benzeri gibi ortaya çıkışı itibarı ile basit sanatlar revaçta olurken mimari, hat, musiki ve sahaflık gibi beşeri sanatlar ilgi görmemiştir. Medeniyetin gelişmesi ve hadaretin yerleşmesi ile ilgi alanları da değişmiş, insanlar lüks bir hayatın içine dalmışlar, diğer gruptan tamamen farklı olarak zerafete, güzelliğe ve eğlenceye aşın ilgi göstermişlerdir. Medeniyet ve refah ile birlikte sahaflık, musikî ve hat gibi beşeri sanatlar ile ayakkabıcılık, terzilik, ticaret, kuyumculuk, tababet, ve imaret gibi meslek grupları toplum içinde kendisine daha fazla yer bulmuşlardır. `Mukaddime'de Kültür ve Sanat` konulu tezimizin giriş bölümünde müellifin hayatı, onu etkileyen kültürel çevre ve eserleri hakkında bilgi verilirken; ikinci bölümde, toplum yapısı, şehirleşme ve mimari; üçüncü ve son bölümde ise meslek grupları ve sanat konusu üzerinde durulmuştur. CULTURE AND ART IN THE MUKADDİME Because of being a first hand source which gives information about the Middle Ages Islamic World, Mukaddime is the first applied book foor the researchers in this subject. Ibn Haldun, in his book, rather than the political devolopments, he had mentioned the factors which affect politics; social, economic, and human life detailly. The author was inspired by his experiences and the geography which he lived, so he had explained all the subjects with the criterias of Bedouiny (bedevilik) and Sedentory Civilisation (hadarilik). Bedouin comminities had always been far from art and occupations which is seen whith wellfare because of their way of life, that they lived far from luxury and contended whith the most necessary things. While, in this development of civilisation and sedantary culture, interest areas had changed, people started to live in a luxury life, different from the other group, they were very interested with elegance, beauty and entertainment. With civilisation and wellfare; human arts like publishing, music and caligraphy also occupation groups like shoemaking, tailoring, trade, jewellary, medicine and administration (imaret) hafe found much more place in the comminity. In the introduction part of our thesis which is named `Culture And Art In The Mukaddime`, we gave information about the life of author, the cultural area which affected him and his works.In the second part we explained social structure,setting cities and architecture; and in the last part, we told about the occupation groups and the subject of art.
