Kadınlara yönelik marka reklamlarında kadın kullanımı ile marka sadakati ilişkisi

Abstract

Women's images are used in advertisements in order to create brand awareness and brand loyalty. As the social roles of women changed over the years, the images of women, which were also shown in advertisements, assumed different roles. These changing roles are met with consumers through advertisements. Due to the frequent use of women's physical appeal in advertisements, the use of sexual elements was generally placed on women. Even women's intense involvement in business life has not been enough to get rid of the social roles they were given such as; motherhood, housewife and ideal spouse images. Women are portrayed in advertising not only as employees, but as superwomen with the sum of all these roles, and the images of women that must be well-groomed and beautiful under all circumstances have become one of the clichés of advertising. In this thesis, the role of the use of female images in television advertisements for women in the reflection of brand loyalty is investigated. In the research, the relationship between the demographic characteristics of female consumers and the loyalty to brands in advertisements where women's images are used was examined. Consumer perceptions regarding the strategies of companies that include women's images in advertising to create and maintain brand loyalty were measured.
