Abstract

Business managements work with their assets and capabilities and continue their activities to maintain their position in the market. This study aims to measure Micheal E. Porter's generic competition strategies and the effects of innovation management in order to enable enterprises to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. This study is also based on the resource-based theory that provides an integrated structure to the enterprise, which is the balance between the internal resources and capabilities of the organization and the opportunities and threats created by its external environment. In parallel with the rapid dissemination and use of information globally, the development of technology has also acted with the same acceleration. With these developments, businesses can offer a wide range of products/services to consumers in today's economy. This market environment, which the demand is varied and the supply is more from demand, has made the competition more severe. In this fierce competitive environment, enterprises have been thinking of achieving competitive advantage through the management of strategic moves and innovation. In this direction, our research was conducted on 126 organisations affiliated to ISO.

İşletmeler kendi varlıkları ve yetenekleri doğrultusunda pazardaki konumunu korumakta, faaliyetlerini sürdürmektedir. Bu çalışma işletmelerin sürdürülebilir rekabet üstünlüğü sağlayabilmesi için Micheal E. Porter'ın jenerik rekabet stratejilerini ve yenilik yönetiminin etkilerini ölçmeye yöneliktir. Bu çalışma ayrıca örgütün içsel kaynak ve yetenekleri ile dış çevresinin ortaya çıkardığı fırsat ve tehditler arasında oluşturduğu denge olan ve işletmeye bütünleşik bir yapı sunan kaynak temelli teoriye dayandırılmıştır.Bilginin global anlamda hızlı yayılması ve kullanılması ile paralel olarak teknolojinin gelişmesi de aynı ivmelenme ile hareket etmiştir. Yaşanan bu gelişmelerle birlikte günümüz ekonomisinde işletmeler tüketiciye yönelik çok çeşitli ürün/hizmet sunabilmektedir. Arzın talepten çok ve çeşitli olduğu bu pazar ortamı ise rekabeti şiddetli bir hale getirmiştir. İşletmeler bu şiddetli rekabet ortamında ise stratejik hamleler ve yeniliğin yönetilmesiyle rekabet üstünlüğü sağlamak düşüncesinde olmuşlardır. Bu doğrultuda araştırmamız ISO'ya bağlı 126 kurumsal işletme üzerinde yapılmıştır.
