Mevlâna`da ahlak eğitimi

Abstract

Son yıllarda yaşanan sosyal, kültürel, bilimsel ve teknolojik gelişme ve değişmeler insan üzerinde etkili olmuştur. Teknolojinin gelişimi, birey ve toplumların etkileşiminin hızlanması, ekonomik ve sosyal imkânların artması, yaşam standartlarının iyileşmesi, bilgi ve gelişmelerden anında haberdâr olma imkânı, seçeneklerin artması gibi olumlu sonuçlar doğurmuştur. Ancak bu gelişmeler beraberinde hızlı tüketim ve erdemsizleştirme, yalnızlaşma, hız ve gelişmlere ayak uyduramama, ahlâkî yozlaşma, tatminsizlik ve mutsuzluk gibi ruhsal birtakım problemleri de ortaya çıkarmıştır. Böylesi yeni durumlar genelde eğitimin özelde ahlak eğitiminin bu gelişmelerle uyumlu ve problemleri çözme imkânı üzerinden sorgulanmasına sebep olmuştur. Bu çalışmayla mevcut soru, sorun ve ihtiyaçlar çerçevesinde yapılacak bir ahlak eğitimine katkı sunma amacıyla Mevlâna'nın Mesnevî ile yaptığı ahlak eğitim faaliyeti ele alınmıştır. Mevlâna'nın eğitiminde öne çıkardığı temel kavramlar, konular, ilkeler, yöntemler ve kazanımlar incelenmiştir. Mesnevî'nin ahlak gelişimine katkısı üzerine bir araştırma yapılmıştır. Mesnevî'nin ahlak eğitim örneği ve bunun din eğitimi açısından önemi tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır.

Fast paced world has had an influence on human behavior for the last decades. The advancements in technology, improved social and economical conditions, the incresing interaction between the individual and the society have presented some challenges have brought about a number of advantages. Yet with these advancements a number of problems in the society, such as fast comsumption, devaluating, isolation, corruption, discontentness, miserableness, have become more prevelant. These factors have raised some concern on the function of educational instutions in particular to moral education of an individual. In view of this, the present study aimed at providing a framework by exploring Mevlâna's Mesnevî in terms of moral education. The major concepts, themes methods and principles that Mevlâna have paid some heed in moral education have been explored and examined, by which the contribution of Mesnevî to moral education have been under scrutiny. As a result, moral education in Mesnevî and its role in religious education have been discussed in the current study.
