Abstract

Bireylerin yüz yüze gerçekleştirdikleri kimlik sunumları, günümüzde yaşanan teknolojik gelişmeler ile birlikte sosyal ağların önemli konusu haline gelmiştir. Kişiler, sosyal ağlar sayesinde kendilerini diğer bireylere karşı sunabilme imkânı bulmuştur. Dolayısıyla, günümüzde sosyal ağların kullanım amacında değişiklikler meydana gelmiştir. Bu değişiklikler ile kişiler sosyal ağlarda farklı kimliklere sahip olabilmektedir ve bir kişinin birden çok kimliği olabilmektedir. Böylelikle sosyal ağlarda idealize ettikleri benliklerini, kimliklerini diğer kişilere farklı şekillerde sunmaktadırlar. Bu çalışmada idealize edilen kimlik ve kimlik türleri, kimlik oluşumunu etkileyen faktörler, benlik ve seçilen Instagram annelerinin sosyal ağlarda benlik sunumları eleştirel bir gözle incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın kuramsal çerçevesini ise, kimlik ve benlik sunumunu inceleyen Goffman'ın dramaturjik teorisi ve sosyal ağlarda idealize edilen kimlik sunumu oluşturmaktadır. Ayrıca bu tez çalışmasında, seçilen Instagram anneleri ile Şule Alkış, Begüm Turan Meraklı, Hassasanne (Ece Kumkale), Pembekurdeleli (Nur Parlak) ve Uzm.ozgeselcukbozkurt (Uzman Özge Selçuk Bozkurt) ile sosyal medyanın kullanım pratiklerinin değişmesi, dönüşmesi, annelerin sosyal ağlarda benliklerini, kimliklerini sunma biçimleri ve sosyal medyayı kullanma amaçlarıyla ilgili derinlemesine mülakat görüşmesiyle çalışma desteklenmiştir. Bu çalışmada sosyal ağlarda yeni bir anne kimliği üretilmektedir sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

The face-to-face identity presentations of individuals have become an important issue of social networks with technological developments. People have the opportunity to present themselves to other individuals through social networks. Therefore, changes in the purpose of use of social networks have occurred. With these changes, people can have different identities in social networks and one person may have multiple identities. In this way, they present their idealized identity and identity to other people in different ways in social networks. Therefore in the social networks, they can show their identities that idealise to other people in different ways. In this study it was analysed their self-shorring on social networks their identity that idealise and identity types, factors affecting identity formotions, ego and on selected Instagram mothers. Goffman's theory compose identity, ego, the institutional framework of study and forms an ideal presentation on social networks. Also Şule Alkış, Begüm Turan Meraklı, Hassasanne (Ece Kumkale), Pembekurdeleli (Nur Parlak) and Uzm.ozgeselcukbozkurt (Pro. Özge Selçuk Bozkurt) Instagram mothers were analysed in this thesis. They changed the use of Instagram and thesis was supported with interviews related to the aim of using social media. In this study, a new maternal identity is produced in social networks.
