Abstract

Bu çalışmada ‘Medya ve Din’ ilişkisi derinlemesine incelenirken toplumun her alanına nüfuz etmiş dinin ve dini değerlerin medyaya yansımasını ve dünyayı kuşatan medya organlarının bu değerleri ele alış biçimlerini ortaya konmaya gayret gösterilmiştir. Din adamları; önceleri mensup olduğu dinin öğretilerini insanları duyurmak için ibadet yerlerini kullanırken, küreselleşen dünyada mesajların hızlı bir şekilde alıcıya ulaşmasını sağlayan medya organlarını etkin ve etkili bir biçimde kullanmaya başlamışlardır. Modernleşme ve küreselleşmeyle birlikte değişen dünyada değişmeyen bir olgu olan kadın problemleridir. Geleneksel ve modern arasında sıkışıp kalan kadın edilgen konumdan sıyrılıp daha etken bir hale gelmeyi istemektedir; fakat cinsiyetçi söylemler, kalıplaşmış yargılar ve toplumsal algılar nedeniyle bu isteğini gerçekleştirememektedir. Televizyon programlarında sorulan dini sorular incelenmiş ve kadının dini pratikler ya da dinle ilişkilendirdiği sosyal hayatta karşılaştığı problemler ortaya konmuştur. Bu problemlerin sonucunda bir kadın tipolojisi oluşturulup kadınların hangi tür problemlerle karşılaştığı, ne tür çekinceler duyduğu ve bu problemlerin ne tür etkiler bıraktığı bilgisine ulaşılmıştır.--------------------The thesis aims to make depth-analyis to relationship between religion and media. It also tries to clarify the reflection of religion and religious values and how media approach them. Men of God used to use sacred spaces to announce their religional teachings, but to reach people in globalizing world became easier and faster for them.The woman issue is constant fact in changing world via globalization and modernism. Women who got stuck in a place between traditional and modern want to be free and more active, but sexist statements, stereotyped judges and perceptions of society stop them. The questions asked of TV programmes are analyzed and religional practics and social issues related to religional practics are revealed. As results of these issues a typology is created and the typology shows that what kind of disadvantages do women have and what kind of effects are created on women with religion based matters.
