Then after givig a general information about miraj in Islam, Ibn Arabi's miraj has been discussed. A fundamental distinction between the prophet's miraj experience and parents' miraj experience can be observed on Ibn Arabi's opinions. According to him, during miraj, while the prophets are moving with their bodies and souls, spiritual journey of the parents' experience is merely with their souls. According to Ibn Arabi's thoughts, the spiritual skies and the truth of these skies are dominated by the names of God. Thus, the person becomes a witness to the true names of God during the spiritual journey.
