Globalization in every sense we live in today's condition when logistics is a basic process for all existing organization, it is on important performance values. Minimum cost, maximum efficiency, customer satisfaction are provided with on effective lojistics management and one of the elements that carries forward the firms which have serious competition in logistics sector. Turkey has politically and economically advantageous strategic location. Turkey, due to its geographical position advantage has potential to become a logistics station. In addition, Turkey has on international corridors which are passed through in, reinforces this potential. The country's existing logistics sector is constantly growing. This growth is positively related to the economy of the country. While Turkey is the seventeenth largest economy our foreign trade is increased. In paralel to this our logistics markets's potential has been one hundred and twenty billion dollars. Logistics will increase market growth with logistics villages and will become permanent. Logistics villages refers to sector's future. In Turkey and Europe are having example of the villages with logistics activities are made regularly as an integration by the center. With this work, it is aimed to show the improvement of Turkey's logistics and to examine of contributions if which are made by the logistics village to this sector. By making swot analysis of the logistics sector's and logistics villages' in Turkey it is aimed to represent the positive effects of the current situation on economy. Küreselleşmeyi her anlamda yaşadığımız günümüz şartlarında, lojistik; var olan tüm organizasyonlar için temel bir süreç iken ve firmaların performans değerlerini etkilemede önemli bir faktördür. Etkin bir lojistik yönetimi ile minimum maliyet, maksimum verimlilik, müşteri memnuniyeti sağlanmakta ve ciddi rekabetin yaşandığı lojistik sektöründe firmaları öne taşıyan unsurlardan biri olmaktadır. Türkiye sahip olduğu konum ile stratejik, politik ve ekonomik olarak avantajlı durumdadır. Türkiye, coğrafi konumunun avantajı sayesinde lojistik üs haline gelme potansiyeli taşımaktadır. Ayrıca, Türkiye'den uluslararası taşıma koridorlarının geçmesi de bu potansiyeli güçlendirmektedir. Ülkedeki mevcut lojistik sektörü sürekli büyümektedir. Bu büyüme ile ülke ekonomisi doğru orantılıdır. Türkiye dünyadaki en büyük on yedinci ekonomi olurken, dış ticaretimiz artmış buna paralel olarak lojistiğin pazar potansiyeli yüz yirmi milyar dolar olmuştur. Lojistik köyler ile de pazardaki büyüme artacak ve sürekli hale gelecektir. Lojistik köyler sektörünün geleceğini ifade etmektedir. Avrupa'da ve Türkiye'de örnekleri bulunan bu köylerle lojistik faaliyetleri; tek merkezden, entegre olarak düzenli yapılmaktadır. Bu çalışma ile, lojistiğin Türkiye'deki gelişimini göstermek ve lojistik köylerin lojistik sektörüne yapmış olduğu katkıları incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Türkiye'deki lojistik sektörün ve lojistik köylerin SWOT analizi yapılarak, mevcut durumu ve ekonomi üzerindeki olumlu etkisi ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır.
