Cumhuriyet'in ilanını takip eden yıllar içinde, 30 Kasım 1925 yılında 667 sayılı kanun ile faaliyetlerine son verilen tarikatların fiziksel mekânları olan dergâhlardaki dinî faaliyetlerin bir bölümü, şeklen değişikliğe uğrayarak da olsa, içerik ve amaç açısından tarikat geleneğinin ve uygulamalarının bir devamı olarak camilerde devam edegelmiştir. Müzikoloji ve Dinbilim alanları üzerinde yapılandırılmaya çalışılmış olan bu çalışma, Şanlıurfa Dergâh Camii'nde dört asırdır kesintiye uğramadan devam edegelen tarikat usûllerinin uygulamalarını ve usûllerin müzikal analizlerini bilimsel bir bakış açısı ve yöntemle incelenmesini konu almaktadır.

After the foundation of Republic of Turkey, the activities of tariqahs were forbidden by a law dated November 30, 1925. Due to this prohibition some of the religious activities that took place within the Tekke lodges changed in structure, but the core content of the tradition survived and was transferred to certain mosques. This thesis examines the application of tariqah in the Şanlıurfa Dergâh Mosque. Using the scientific methods of Theology and Musicology, this thesis will examine the forms and methods of tariqua practice that were transferred to the Şanlıurfa Dergâh Mosque and have survived for over four hundred centuries.
