Abstract

Viral pazarlama, kişilerin bir pazarlama mesajını diğer insanlara aktarmalarını teşvik eden bir strateji olarak tanımlanmakta ve bu şekilde kuruma ait ürün ve hizmet mesajlarının yayılımında önemli bir potansiyele işaret etmektedir. Viral pazarlama, firmaların mal ve hizmetleri hakkında bir vızıltı oluşturmanın en etkili yöntemlerinden biridir. Biyolojik Virüslere benzer bir şekilde viral pazarlama stratejileri, mesajın binlerce kişiden milyonlarca kişiye yayılmasını sağlayarak kuruma marka farkındalığı açısından avantaj oluşturur. Viral pazarlama, e-posta adresine, telefona ve sosyal medya hesabına sahip kullanıcıların bir pazarlama mesajını diğer kullanıcılara aktarmalarını teşvik eden bir pazarlama tekniğidir. Web üzerinde viral pazarlama, ?maustan mausa? veya ?modemden modeme? iletişim olarak da adlandırılır. Etkili bir viral pazarlama stratejisi başlıca belirli unsurları kapsar. Bunlar; ücretsiz mal veya hizmet göndermek, başkalarına çabasız yani zahmetsiz transfer etmeyi sağlamak, küçük kitlelerden geniş kitlelere kolayca yayılmak, genel güdü ve davranışları kullanmak, mevcut iletişim ağından ve diğer kaynakların avantajından yararlanmaktır. Başarılı viral pazarlama kampanyaları; yaratıcılık, eğlence (duygusal boyut), kolay kullanım ve görünürlülük, güvenirlilik ve kişiselleştirmeyi kapsayan teşvik edici mesajı içerir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Viral Pazarlama, Sosyal Medya Pazarlama, Sosyal Medya

Viral marketing is defined as a strategy that encourages individuals to convey a marketing strategy to others and thus constituting a significant potential in the distribution of the messages pertaining to the products and the services of a company. Viral marketing is one of the most effective methods of creating a buzz about the products and services provided by companies. As with biological viruses, viral marketing strategies causes a message to spread to thousands then millions of people thus generating a benefit for the company in terms of brand awareness. Viral marketing is a marketing technique that encourages users who have e-mail addresses, telephone lines and social media accounts to spread a marketing message to other users. Viral marketing is called in the web as ?mouse-to-mouse? or modem-to-modem? communication. An effective viral marketing strategy deals with certain essential factors. These are; free goods or service dispatch, effortless i.e. hassle-free transfer to others, easy spread from minor to large masses, utilization of general motives and behaviors, benefit from existing communication networks and other resources. Successful viral marketing campaigns do include an encouraging message that comprises innovation, fun (emotional dimension), ease of use and visibility, reliability and individualization.Keywords: Viral Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Social Media
