Abstract

In recent years, the technologic invents had a huge impact on every field and in process of time endorse their development. Like the other fields, communication field had a big change and progression. By these changes and progression, publishers and broadcasters tend to find new ways to entertain people. Thus, the people who watch TV and use media and their habits are being started to change. Among mass medium, technological development mostly affects on television. Since television invented, it has been the most popular media medium. And nowadays its popularity remains the same. Besides the technological advancement, television broadcasting also has been developed and new tendencies are being found. In conventional broadcasting, the audience was passive but by the support of new technologies and new broadcasting skills, the audience is active any more. It means that TV broadcasting becomes more and more interactive with the relation of people. In this thesis work, we try to explain the progression of TV broadcasting, current TV broadcasting, the difference between conventional and new broadcasting and affects of interactive statement of audience in TV broadcasting.Key words: Television, Television Technologies, Interactive TV Broadcasting, IPTV, Conventional Media, New Media.

Günümüzde teknolojinin gelişimiyle birlikte teknolojiyi kullanan diğer mecralarda olduğu gibi iletişim sektöründe de büyük bir değişim söz konusudur. Bu değişim ile birlikte yayıncılar yeni eğilimlere yönelmiş, yeni yayıncılık anlayışıyla beraber, başta televizyon olmak üzere medyayı kullananların alışkanlıkları değişmeye başlamıştır. Teknolojik gelişmelerin en fazla etkilediği kitle iletişim araçlarının başında televizyon gelmektedir. Televizyon ilk çıktığı günden itibaren en popüler kitle iletişim aracı olmuştur. Televizyon günümüzde de bu popülerliğini devam ettirmektedir. Teknolojik gelişmelerle birlikte televizyon yayıncılığında da büyük değişimler yaşanmış, yeni yönelimler kendini göstermiştir. Geleneksel televizyonculuk anlayışında izleyiciler pasif bir durumdayken, teknolojinin ortaya çıkardığı yeni medya ile aktif bir konuma girilmiş ve televizyon yayıncılığında etkileşim olgusu boy göstermeye başlamıştır. Bu çalışmada televizyon teknolojisindeki gelişmeler, günümüz televizyon yayıncılığı, geleneksel medya ile yeni medya arasındaki farklar ile etkileşimlilik olgusunun televizyon yayıncılığındaki yeri gibi konular açıklanılmaya çalışılmıştır.Anahtar kelimeler: Televizyon, Televizyon Teknolojileri, Etkileşimli Televizyon Yayıncılığı, IPTV, Geleneksel Medya, Yeni Medya
