Abstract

INVESTIGATION OF al-BAIDAWI COMMENTARY OF QURAN REGARDING ISRA’ILIYAT In the introduction of this study that we have done about Baidawi interpretation We tried to examine briefly the stages of interpretation science. In the first chapter; we tried to give as much information as we are able to reach about the life and the Works of Baidawi. In the second part: We tried to provide technical information about ısra’ılıyat. In the third section: We have attempted to examine Baidawi commentary in terms of ısra’ılıyat We tried to analyze and evaluate the narratives about ısra’ılıyat, particularly the prophet stories which the interpretor mentioned, Ashâb-ı Kehf (the people of the Cave), Dhul-Qarnain, Ya’jûj and Ma’jûj (Gog and Magog), Dâbbetü’l-Arz (beast from the earth), Ashâbü’r-Ress, Tâlût (Saul), Hârut and Mârût, Qârûn (Korah), Hz. Loqmân, parables of ambassodors mentioned in sura Yasin, nûn in the beginning of sura Kalem and ar-Rûh mentioned in sura Nebe. Key words: Commentary, al-Baidawi, Isra’iliyat, Prophets.

BEYZÂVÎ TEFSİRİ’NİN İSRÂİLİYYÂT AÇISINDAN İNCELENMESİ Beyzâvî tefsiri hakkında yapmış olduğumuz bu çalışmamızın giriş bölümünde tefsir ilminin geçirdiği merhaleleri kısaca ele almaya çalıştık. Birinci bölümde ise: Beyzâvî’nin hayatı ve eserleri hakkında ulaşabildiğimiz kadar bilgi vermeye gayret ettik. İkinci bölümde ise: İsrâiliyyât hakkında teknik bilgiler sunmaya çalıştık. Üçüncü bölümde ise: Beyzâvi tefsirini isrâiliyyât açısından incelemeye gayret ettik. Müfessirimizin tefsirinde zikretmiş olduğu başta peygamber kıssaları olmak üzere, Ashâb-ı Kehf, Zülkarneyn, Ye’cûc ve Me’cûc, Dâbbetü’l-Arz, Ashâbü’r-Ress, Tâlût, Hârut ve Mârût, Kârûn, Hz. Lokman, Yâsin sûresinde zikredilen elçilerin kıssaları gibi konular ile müteferrik konulardan Kalem sûresinin başındaki nûn ve Nebe sûresinde zikredilen rûh hakkındaki isrâiliyyâta dair rivâyetleri tahlil ve değerlendirmeye gayret ettik. Tefsir, Beyzâvî, İsrâiliyyyât, Peygamberler.
