Abstract

İnsanın üç ana merkezlerinden biri nefis, diğerleri de akıl ve kalptir. Bu merkezlerden nefsin yeterince bilinmemesi ve idrak edilmemesi, insanın yapısının tam olarak anlaşılamamasına sebep olmaktadır. Nefsin tam olarak algılanabilmesi için Kur’an’ın öngördüğü nefis anlayışını ortaya çıkarmak gerekmektedir. Bunun neticesinde 296 âyette geçen nefis, Kur’ân’ın önemle üzerinde durduğu konuların başında gelmektedir. İşte araştırmamızda diğer düşünce sistemlerini de göz önünde bulundurarak Kur’ân’daki nefsin kavramsal çerçevesini, işlevsel özelliklerini ve eğitilebilirliğini ortaya çıkardık. Aynı zamanda insan, nefsinin aşırı istekleri karşısında iradesine sahip olamadığı noktalarda insanlıktan çıkıp nefsinin kölesi durumuna düşebilmektedir. Günümüzde insana ait kötü davranışların çoğunda nefsin başrolde olduğunu söylemek mümkündür. Bu yüzden nefsin iğreti arzuları anlamında olan hevâsının etkisinden kurtulmak için onun eğitim sürecinden geçmesi kaçınılmazdır. İşte Kur’ân’ın, nefsin kötülüklere kaynaklık ettiği davranışları ön plânda tutarak gerçekleştirdiği eğitim metodlarının bilinmesi, nefsin eğitimine ne kadar katkı sağladığını görülmesi açısından araştırılmaya değer bir konu olduğu gerçeğini gözler önüne sermektedir.
