In the first part of this study, Sumerian belief system and the first six gods according to the hierarchy in the Sumerian pantheon are described in general terms.Since it contitutes the primary subject of this study, the belief in god Enki in Sumerians is reviewed more comprehensively and described with visual and written materials, such as pictures, chants and prayers. The first three main myths of the god Enki convention are explained end the characteristics of this convention are attempted to be given.Towards the end of the study, its impacts on different cultures are described and its reflections on different societies are emphasized. In addition, on the seals given, the iconography of the god is shown in different cultures.
Çalışmamızın ilk bölümünde, Sümer inanç sistemi ve Sümer panteonundaki hiyerarşiye göre ilk altı tanrı genel bilgilerle açıklanmıştır.Sümerlerde, tanrı Enki inancı ana konumuzu oluşturduğu için daha kapsamlı olarak incelenmiş, resim, ilahi ve dualar gibi görsel ve yazılı unsurlarla açıklanmıştır. Tanrı Enki geleneğinin, önde gelen ilk üç miti açıklanarak, bu geleneğin özellikleri verilmeye çalışılmıştır.Çalışmamızın sonuna doğru, farklı kültürlere olan etkileri açıklanmış, farklı toplumlardaki yansımaları üzerinde durulmuştur. Ek olarak verilen mühürlerde tanrının farklı kültürlerdeki ikonografisi verilmiştir.
