Abstract

Psikososyal bir alan araştırması şeklinde tasarlanan bu çalışmada temel gaye, öncelikle dini tutum, dini davranış, mükafat ve ceza gibi kavramların din psikolojisindeki yerinin ne olduğunu, oluşum ve gelişim safhalarını, mükafat ve cezanın önemi ve dini tutum ve davranışlarla ilişkisini, İslam ve Batı düşünürlerinin bu konudaki görüşlerini ortaya koymaktır. Bunun yanında gerçekleştirdiğimiz alan araştırması aracılığıyla gerek ailede, gerekse de yaygın din eğitiminde uygulanan metodları, bu esnada mükafat ve cezaya ne sıklıkla başvurulduğunu, verilen mükafat ve cezanın türlerini ve bunların bireylerin dini tutum ve davranışları üzerindeki olumlu ve olumsuz etkilerini, bireylerin fiziki ve sosyal farklılıkları ile mükafat ve cezanın etkisi arasındaki ilişkiyi, bireylerin genel olarak dini tutum ve davranışlarının pozitif veya negatif yönlü mü (sevgi ve korku) olduğu tesbit edilmiş ve böylece konuyla ilgilenenlere bilgiler sunulmuştur. Bu çalışmanın temel varsayımı şöyledir;?İslam dini merhamet, hoşgörü dinidir, onun mensubları da bu ilkeye uygun olarak çocuklarını korku ve baskıyla değil, sevgi ve mükafatla, dolayısıyla pozitif yöntemlerle yetiştirirler. Bu yüzden dini tutum ve davranışlar üzerinde mükafatın daha etkili olacağı varsayılmaktadır?. Anketlerden elde edilen veriler bu varsayımı teyit etmiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Dini tutum, dini davranış, mükafat, ceza.

As a psycosocial field study, the main objective of this research is to introduce the position of religious attitude and behaviour, reward and punishment in religious psychology, their stages of formation and development, the significance of rewards and punishments and their relations with religious attitudes and behaviours and the opinions of Islamic and Western thinkers about it. Futhermore, it is identified the methods that is applied in the families and common religious education, meanwhile, how often is referred reward and punishment, what type of reward and punishment is applied, the positive and negative effects of these phenomenons on the religious attitudes and behaviours of people, the relation between the physicial and social differences of people and the effects of rewards and punishments and thus it is provided informations for the interested persons about this theme. The basic conjecture of this research is that;?Islam is a compassionate and tolerant religion and its members according to this doctrine bring up their children with reward or love, not with punishment or fear, consequently, they apply positive methods. Therefore, it is supposed that the rewards will more effective on the religious attitudes and behaviours.? The datas obtained from the survey support this conjecture.Key Words: Religious attitude, religious behaviour, reward, punishment.
