Abstract

Günümüzde siyasal reklam çok partili demokratik sistemi benimsemiş olanülkelerde seçim kampanyalarının vazgeçilmez bir unsurudur. Siyasal partiler, seçmendesteğini sağlayarak iktidara gelmek ve ülkeyi yönetmek amacıyla siyasal reklamları biraraç olarak kullanmaktadırlar. Siyasal reklamlar aracılığıyla yaklaşımlar, projeler,vaatler ve mesajları seçmenlere iletilmektedir. Bu siyasal reklamların seçmenlerin oyverme davranışı üzerinde rol oynadığı varsayılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada siyasal reklam,siyasal iletişim boyutuyla ele alınmakta ve varsayılan bu rolüne ilişkin olarak 29 Mart2009?daki yerel seçimler sonrasında yapılan bir araştırmanın bulguları analizedilmektedir.

Today, political advertisement is an indispensable element of election campaignsin countries which have adopted democratic multiparty system. Political parties usepolitical ads to come to power and govern by providing voters? support. Throughpolitical ads; approaches, projects, commitments and messages are delivered to voters.These political ads are assumed to play a role on voters? voting behavior. In this study,political advertisings are dealt with political communication dimensions and regardingthis role, findings of a survey which was conducted after local elections in 29 March2009, will be analyzed.
