İstanbul Deniz Otobüsleri'nin bir hattında yolcu talep tahmini

Abstract

Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde zaman serilerinin kullanıldığı tahmin tekniklerinden Basit Hareketli Ortalama Yöntemi, Ağırlıklı Hareketli Ortalama Yöntemi, Çift Hareketli Ortalama Yöntemi, Basit Üstel Düzeltme Tekniği, Brown’ın Üstel Düzeltme Tekniği, Üçlü Üstel Düzeltme Tekniği, Yanıt Oranı Uyarlamalı Üstel Düzeltme Tekniği, Holt’un İki Parametreli Üstel Düzeltme Tekniği ve Box-Jenkins (ARIMA) Yöntemi incelenmiştir. Prof. Dr. Hakan Yıldırım Degree Awarded and Date : Master - November 2009 Series, Forecasting ABSTRACT PASSENGER DEMAND FORECAST FOR ONE LINE OF ISTANBUL SEA BUSES The main aim of the study was to determine the most appropriate demand forecast model for Bakırköy-Bostancı line of Istanbul Sea Buses. In this context, by testing nine different forecast techniques, it was aimed to determine the technique with the minimum deviation from actual data and to consider the forecast result that was obtained by using the determined technique. In the first part of this study, we used the following forecasting techniques that use time series: Single Moving Average Method, Weighted Moving Average Method, Double Moving Average Method, Single Exponential Smoothing Technique, Brown’s Exponential Smoothing Technique, Triple Exponential Smoothing Technique, Adaptive Response Rate Exponential Smoothing Technique, Holt’s Two Parameter Exponential Smoothing Technique and Box-Jenkins (ARIMA) Method. In the second part, these techniques were applied by analyzing the trend and seasonal data on number of passengers for Bakırköy-Bostancı line of Istanbul Sea Buses including 60 quarters (three-month periods) between the years of 1994-2008. Results were discussed by forecasting most appropriate number of passengers for the first quarter of 2009.
