Sermaye birikimi sürecinde Arayış mekanları Samsun örneği

Abstract

“THE SEARCHING SPACES” OF CAPITAL ACCUMULATION PROCESS SAMSUN CASE Starting point of this study is the assessment that some cities and regions have become “searching spaces” at the stage of capitalism have come. This assessment is based on the relation between capital accumulation process and spatial constitutions and changing forms of this relation. In this context, firstly “searching space” concept is explained starting from the criticism of regional development literature. The case study of this thesis is determined as Samsun. This city as a “searching space” is adressed within historical development of capital accumulation process. Finally the “searching process” in Samsun is addressed through the depth interview with important agents of this “searching process”.
