1946-2007 Türk basınında milletvekili genel seçimleri

Abstract

Multi-party system really began with DP?s establishment in 1946 in Turkey. With the deputy election in 1950, DP came to power alone and until 1960 Military Coup, it was in power. However, DP was forbidden by TSK after 1960 Military Coup, new parties like AP and YTP1 entered into Turkish political life. Coalitions were formed by leadership of CHP after 1961 deputy election. AP came to power alone after 1965 and 1969 deputy elections.1973 and 1977 deputy elections were performed after 1971 March Military Memorandum. Turkey was administered by coalitions in both terms. After the chaos, TSK confiscated the power in 1980. The political parties were forbidden and new parties entered into Turkish political life by the coup. ANAP came to power alone in 1983 and 1987 deputy elections. Coalitions were began after 1991 deputy election and this condition continued in 1995 and 1999 deputy elections. With the rising of political Islam, central right moved to further right in 2002 deputy election and AKP came to power alone. AKP, came to power alone again in 2007 deputy election. In research, changing of political actor?s messages was examined in 16 deputy elections which were performed between 1946 and 2007 in Turkey.
