Abstract

IPTV (Internet Protocol Television), televizyon veya görüntü sinyallerinin geniş bant internet (kablo internet/DSL) kullanıcısı izleyicilerine internet protokolü (IP) üzerinden dağıtıldığı sistemlere denir. Diğer bir ifade ile şifreli, şifresiz TV kanallarının ve depolanan video içeriklerinin, IP paketlerine dönüştürülerek geniş bant erişim teknolojileri üzerinden son kullanıcıya yayınlanmasıdır. Bu sistem genel olarak geniş bant işletmecisi tarafından sağlanan internet bağlantısına paralel olarak aynı altyapı üzerinde tahsis edilen bir bant genişliğiyle sağlanır. IPTV platformu, TV yayını, isteğe bağlı içerik yayını (VoD, MoD), kişisel içerik kaydı (nPVR), canlı yayını durdurma (PLTV), gecikmeli yayın izleme (TSTV, Catch-up TV, TVoD), izle - öde (PPV), interaktif servisler, internet ve görüntülü iletişim (Video Konferans, Video Phone) gibi hizmetlerle kullanıcıya çok çeşitli seçenekler sunar. IPTV'de görüntü (tv yayını,vod), data (internet) ve telefon (voip) hizmetlerinin kullanıcıya aynı paket içinde verilmesine tripleplay denir.

IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) is called the systems which television or video signals are distributed to the broadband internet (cable / DSL) users over internet protocol (IP). In other words, it publishes coded and decoded TV channels and stored video indexes to the last user by changing it to IP packets over broadbant access technologies. This system is mainly provided by a broadband which is allocated on the same base parallel to the internet connection which is provided by broadband business manager. It presents many options to the user with services such as; IPTY platfotm, TV broadcast, optional content broadcast (VoD, MoD), personal content record (nPVR), live broadcast pause (PLTV), delayed monitoing broadcast (TSTV, catch-up TV, TVoD), watch-pay (PPV), interactive services, Internet and video communications (Video Conference, Video Phone). Providing services such as image on IPTV (tv broadcast, vod), data (internet) and telephone (voip) to the user in the same packet is called tripleplay.
