Abstract

In the first part of ?Cinema and Color Perception? thesis, you will find the general facts about color, scientific and technical information and some results of researches about the issue.Second and third parts are evaluating the benefits of six main colors, red, yellow, blue, orange, green and purple, which are picked as the most important ones that affect cinematographic storytelling, to human perception. After these detailed and independent definitions, the main idea will be supported by some movie samples from the cinema history.Forth and the last part of the thesis is about the short movie, presented with this thesis, ?The Immortal?. ?Sinemada Renk Olgusu? başlıklı tez çalışmasının birinci bölümünde; ?Renk? kavramı hakkında genel bilgilere, çeşitli bilimsel açıklamalara ve araştırma sonuçlarına yer verilmiştir.Çalışmanın tamamına yakınını kapsayan ikinci ve üçüncü bölümlerde, renk kavramının sinema ile olan ilişkisi ele alınmaktadır. Yedinci sanatın görsel anlatım öğelerine en önemli katkıyı sağladıkları tespit edilen altı rengin, kırmızı, sarı, mavi, turuncu, yeşil ve morun bağımsız olarak incelenerek sunulduğu ikinci bölümü, söz konusu renklerin en etkin örneklerinin yer aldığı ?Kullanım Örnekleri? isimli üçüncü bölüm izlemektedir.Çalışmanın dördüncü bölümünde ise, tez çalışması ile birlikte sunulan ?Ölümsüz? adlı filmin yaratılış amacı, senaryosu, çekim ve kurgu malzemeleri ve künyesi yer almaktadır.
