Abstract

182 SUMMARY The subject (purpose) of this study is to research, observe and make experiment about the uniforms of the Turkish Land Forces Command Officers. The main theme of this study is to find the presentation and comfortability in their fabricsand models. The contents are as follows; In the first part; the history, presentation and usage conditions of these uniforms; duties and responsibilities of the related departments which purchase uniforms and their fabrics, and also the military stitching houses and other civil firms; the description of comfort, the relationship between comfort and nature of fabrics and past and recent studies about comfort are throughly investigated and explained. In the second part; it is described the fabrics, mesurements and models of the uniforms, the investigation the tests and production studies applied to camoufleged and in-service training uniforms (story and color board, pattern making up, pattern analysis, stitching and process analysis, pattern placing and pattern grading). Also, the uniforms used by the officers are investigated from the point of comfort and the studies made to provide fabric-model comfort and to raise the quality of production are described. The aim of this thesis is to present the investigations and results to the related units and to propose reccomendations and solutions for the betterment of confort in uniforms.

181 ÖZET Bu çalışmanın konusunu; K.K.K. kullanılan subay giysilerinin tanıtımı, bu giysilerdeki kumaş ve model konforunun araştırılması, elde edilen bulguların değerlendirilmesi oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmanın; Birinci bölümde; Askeri Giysilerin Tarihçesi, Giysilerin Tanıtımı ve Kullanım Özellikleri, Kumaş ve Giysi Tedariki ile İlgili Birimlerin Görev ve Sorumlulukları, Askeri Dikimevleri ve Sivil Firmaların Görev ve Sorumlulukları, Konfor Tanımı ve Özellikleri, Konfor-Kumaş Yapısı Arasındaki İlişkiler ve Konfor Konusunda Yapılmış çalışmalara yer verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde; Subay Giysilerinin Kumaş, Ölçü ve Model Tanımları, Kaınuflajlı Eğitim ve Mesleki Hizmet Elbisesi İçin Uygulanan Testlerin ve Üretim Çalışmalarının Değerlendirilmesi (Hikaye ve Renk Panosu, Kalıp Çizimi, Kalıp Analizi, Dikim ve Proses Analizleri, Pastal-Seri Planları), Subayların Kullandığı Giysilerin Konfor Açısından Değerlendirmesi yapılarak, Kumaş-Model Konforunu Sağlamak, Üretim Kalitesini Yükseltmek İçin Yapılan çalışmalar bulunmaktadır. Çalışma sonuçlan ve öneriler ilgili birimlere verilerek uygulamalarda yardımcı olunması hedeflenmektedir.
