İşletmelerde Ar-Ge Birimi ve Ar-Ge Projelerinin Değerlendirilmesi ve Performans Ölçümü

Abstract

Gerek endüstriyel gerekse araştırma işletmelerinde Araştırma-Gelistirme (Ar-Ge) birimlerinin gerçek değeri ancak, kuruluşun varlığını koruması ve büyüyebilmesi için gerekli olan yenilik ve icatların geliştirilmesi ve yaratılması sırasında Ar-Ge’nin oynadığı role yakından bakılması ile anlaşılabilir. İşletmelerde Ar-Ge birimlerini “yeni bilgi keşfi, yeni ürün icat etme ve mevcut ürünlerin geliştirilmesi” hedeflerine ulaştıracak en uygun performans ölçüm ve metotlarının seçilmesi gerekir. Bu hedefe ulaşmada katkıda bulunabilmek için sunulan çalışmada; işletmelerin Ar-Ge birimlerinin ve Ar-Ge projelerinin performans ölçüm metotları ve ölçüm kriterleri genel olarak ele alınmış ve incelenmiştir.

In both industrial and research businesses, the real value of the Research&Development (R&D) units can only be understood by focusing on the role of the R&D in the development and creation of the innovation and discoveries for a company to maintain and enlarge its presence. In the businesses, in order to prpvide the R&D units’ main goal: “new knowledge invention, discovery of new products and development of existing ones”, the most convenient performance measures and methods must be chosen. In this study; performance measurement methods and criteria of the businesses’ R&D units and projects are generally considered and examined.
